Thank you for visiting Wee Wallaby! I am a WAHM of a one and four year old living in Jacksonville, Fl.  I started Wee Wallaby because I truly believe in the products I sell and would like to share my positive experience with cloth diapering.

I first thought to use cloth diapers after my daughter developed a rash from using disposables. The rash  developed because she was allergic/sensitive to an ingredient in disposable pull ups. As soon as the diaper was pulled down (while she was on the potty, for instance) she would start scratching until she was bleeding.  Skin irritants are the culprit of many rashes; she was getting rashes when she wasn't even peeing in the pull up. I like that with cloth diapers I control what touches her skin ( I pick the diaper material, laundry detergent, etc).  

When I looked up what was out there I was surprised to find all of the different options.  The choice of cloth diapers out there can be overwhelming to say the least. I thought, at the time, that it would just be a plain piece of white cloth and pins! I was surprised to see how far cloth diapers have come.

 I ordered a few pockets and a prefold for her to start off. A few months later I ordered a few All-In-Ones. I became very interested in cloth diapering and wanted to try what was out there. My daughter was already using the potty when we figured out that we needed to switch to cloth so she was only in diapers during her nap, at night and occasionally on outings. However, it was enough time for me to know that I wanted my next child in cloth full time and from the beginning!

Cloth diapering has been a wonderful experience for me and I only wish I had discovered it sooner. So many people are surprised when they see me changing my son. They know that I use cloth diapers but are not expecting to see velcro, bright colors, and fun patterns.  I enjoy the opportunity to expose even more people to cloth diapering through this store.
